What do you think of when you hear the words hydrogen peroxide? You probably think of the 3% peroxide that you can purchase in stores. It is generally used as a topical antiseptic on cuts or wounds to promote faster healing. It has also been used as a mouthwash or gargle to lessen the effects of a sore throat.
